Hi,
today I want to release a new version of OMLDSuite, introduced in the previous post. This new version offers a new Opera Mini, a new emulator based on the JavaFX SDK 1.3.1 and new variants for different screen resolutions. Opera Mini is a mobile browser that was originally based on Java ME (J2ME). It is now also available for the iPhone, Blackberry, Windows Mobile and numerous other mobile platforms. It offers a fast browsing experience due to advanced content compression techniques.
Requirements:
- Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7
- Java Runtime Enviroment from here
- Internet access on your PC
I have made several versions of OMLDSuite for different screen resolutions. Each package weighs about 21 MB. Feel free to download the version which suits your needs:

- For small(er) screens:
800x600 pixels version - For normal screens:
1024x600 pixels version - For normal screens:
1024x768 pixels version - For normal screens:
1200x768 pixels version - For normal screens:
1200x800 pixels version - For Full-HD screens:
1920x1080 pixels version
- Unpack the OMLDSuite archive you just downloaded in one directory.
- Run the script "install_opera_mini.bat" by clicking on it. This is only needed once!
- Then click on the script start_opera_mini.bat" whenever you want to start OMLDSuite.
- Then the emulator window should come up in which you can launch Opera Mini (5).
As this new solution does not need the Sun Wireless Toolkit or the Java ME Platform SDK 3.0 or the JDK the installation is now much simpler.

Proxy cannot be configured yet in OMLD. But people have reported that it is possible to use it in conjunction with Proxifier.
The download folder can be specified when OM recognizes that the file cannot be displayed, but must be downloaded instead. You find the downloaded files in a path like:
C:\Users\username\Application Data\javafx-sdk\1.3\work\1\appdb\filesystem\root1

I tested the download and the file was not corrupt and OM could be started correctly.
I suppose, your network connection is the cause for your troubles. Maybe it is not stable and you lose packets and the download is therefore corrupted. This could also be the reason that the OM jars and jads are corrupted in your earlier attempts.
Could you try the download(s) again with another internet connection?
Which country are you from if I may ask?

First, thank you for your work :) Second, I wanted to update Opera mini to opera-mini-6.1.25378-advanced-en and the installation runs fine, but when I try to start it, I get the "Cannot finish installation because of insufficient storage space" and I have more than enough of that :) Is this possible or should I just stick to the older version?
Just remembered one more question :) Is there a way for the app to stop asking me for permission to send and receive data or at least to ask me just once? :)
Dear Makube, thank u a lot for this big job, please help me, i am in a great problem. My screen size is nearly 1024*705 . i like opera mini 4.2 than 5, because i can save pages in it ,view offline & is fast. But when i use om large device 1024*705 to run it, it tries to install operamini again , my previous book marks, saved pages & everything lost!.i reinstall java wirless tool kit, but nothing works!. i am after this problem for a number of days. I beg u please gave me a good omld 1024*705 in which opera mini 4.2 works better, waiting for ur reply please!!!
